Finding ways to stay positive during stay at home orders may not always seem like the easiest thing to do. The truth is that the Coronavirus <\/a>changed the world as we knew it in 2020.<\/p>\n

Things went from zero to one hundred in seconds and the whole world came to a standstill right there and then.<\/p>\n

With the overwhelming amount of coverage surrounding this global pandemic on social media, the TV and the radio, it is extremely hard to not believe we are entering a dark hole. While this to be taken very seriously this blog will hopefully be helpful on how to take a positive approach alongside this challenging time.<\/p>\n

Limit Your Media Intake<\/strong>
\nIt can damage our moods and mental health to be absorbing unnecessary amounts of negative, low energy conversations. There\u2019s so much rough information that is being passed around and it\u2019s a dangerous spiral to get yourself caught up in.<\/p>\n

Acknowledge that being completely absorbed in the media during this time will do you no good. There\u2019s very few people that can spend hours and hours in front of negativity without feeling the impact. If you\u2019re feeling a little low emotionally, try limiting your media intake to 30 minutes a day to get updates.<\/p>\n

Spend Time with Loved Ones<\/strong>
\nWhether you\u2019re quarantining at home with family, living with friends, your cat\/dog or all by yourself, nurture and deepen those connections. Ask questions<\/a> you never ask. Check up on each other and how this time is affecting you and them and pull together with whatever and whoever you have.<\/p>\n
